BEGIN FORMSquat form check
Exercise guidance. The depth and lean standards are general reference values, not yet reviewed by an exercise professional, and don't replace a coach.
Your phone's camera watches you squat from the side, counts each one, and tells you two things: whether you got low enough, and how far your upper body leaned.
Before you start
- Phone upright, at about hip height, on something steady (or someone holds it).
- Stand 2–3 m away, side-on, so head and feet are both in the picture.
- Bright room, light in front of you. Fitted clothes read better.
- The screen will tell you if you need to move: you don't have to get it exactly right first.
Your camera
- The picture is read on this phone only. No picture or video is sent, saved or recorded.
- When you finish, only the numbers are saved as your record: repetitions, angles and times.
- The first time, a small file (the pose model, about 6 MB) is downloaded from Google.
- This is exercise guidance, not a medical opinion. If something hurts, stop and ask a professional.
